Why you keep reliving that trauma - and how to finally break free from PTSD

Hypnosis with Arthur Collis.

You survived.
But you can’t get over what happened.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder can happen after a difficult, stressful or traumatic incident.

Even though you survived the incident, and maybe even felt fine afterwards.

For some reason, you just can’t let it go.

You keep reliving it, and the fear you felt, again and again and again.

This is PTSD, and it happens to 1 in 3 people after a traumatic incident.

PTSD has many different symptoms.

You might try and avoid everything that reminds you of what happened.

You might find yourself constantly on edge, always looking for danger.

You might find yourself extremely anxious, struggling with nightmares or having flashbacks.

You might even have physical symptoms like sweating, trembling and even pain.

Living with PTSD is difficult.

Science doesn’t know much, but is learning more.

PTSD isn’t properly understood yet.

PTSD has been identified in people who have fought in wars - but also people who have been in a “fender bender” car crash.

It’s been seen in emergency service workers - but also school children who have been bullied in school.

Science doesn’t know why some people develop PTSD and others don’t, although there are lots of theories about it.

There are some medical treatments for PTSD

The main medical treatment for PTSD is anti-depressants. These can help mask the symptoms but don't do anything about the cause of the PTSD. And for some, these tablets come with unwanted side effects.

Talking therapy like CBT is sometimes used, but this can mean needing to relive the events over and over.

Sometimes, EMDR - an eye movement therapy - will be used and this can be helpful without needing to relive the trauma again and again.

I believe that your reaction to what happened isn’t a disorder.

You felt in danger and your mind acted to protect you.

This isn’t wrong.

What’s wrong is that your mind hasn’t been able to move on from the danger and realise you’re safe now.

Using advanced hypnosis techniques, I can help your powerful mind realise that the danger has passed and you are safe to go back to living your life.

And I can do this without you needing to keeping talking about what happened to you.

How to defeat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

Reviews of Arthur Collis’ Hypnosis Services

  • My meeting with Arthur was so great! He helped me pinpoint the root cause of my PTSD-esque symptoms (panic attacks, guilt , anger and self-loathing). At 35 years old, the symptoms were only getting worse, and that's why I wanted to try hypnosis. Now, I can clearly see why I've been feeling this way my entire life; it all makes sense! Arthur genuinely cares. I feel helped when I thought I was too far-gone to be helped. I finally feel calm and in control of my mind.

  • Arthur, I just wanted to let you know that I am very successful with this process. I can’t thank you enough for being my coach and mentor in it. I have not touched a cigarette nor have I even craved one at all. You are truly a beautiful person to help people, such as myself, to get rid of such a terrible habit and embrace a wonderful opportunity for success and happiness. I can’t thank you enough. So I have passed your information on to at least four people already and they really seemed interested in contacting you and doing it themselves. I certainly hope they do follow through and you get another opportunity to prove your method works! You are a life saver for me. I am so very thankful.
